Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior school-based OT experience preferred, especially at the elementary level
- Strong understanding of IDEA, IEP processes, and relevant documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers for holistic support
- Monitor and document student progress; participate in IEP meetings as required
- Adapt interventions and recommend classroom modifications to enhance student access and engagement
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal regulations
