Embark on an exciting opportunity as a contract occupational therapist, delivering impactful services to elementary and middle school students. You will work onsite across several school locations, collaborating closely with teachers and staff to support a caseload of 45 students, each with unique needs. This is a school-based position for the 2026-2027 academic year, working 35–37.5 hours per week and providing hands-on interventions to help students thrive in educational settings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina (SC OT License)
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies for a diverse student population, including elementary and middle school ages
- Organizational skills for documentation and session planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and ongoing evaluations to students across assigned school sites
- Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s educational goals
- Consult with teachers, families, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team process
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations and reporting requirements
