- Collaborate in a shared therapy space with a Physical Therapist, promoting an integrated care model
- Work closely with teachers, families, and school leadership to support student success and access to learning
What You Bring:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in New York State (required)
- Experience or strong interest working in a school-based setting
- Ability to effectively serve a diverse elementary population, including those receiving general education and MTSS support
- Comfort collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and shared spaces
- Strong communication skills and an engaging, student-centered approach
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing students’ needs and developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy services and documenting progress
- Supporting classroom participation, functional skills, and student independence
- Consulting with educational staff and families for holistic support
