Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Current New York State OT licensure
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with both general education and special needs students
- Flexibility and adaptability in a shared therapy space
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students, including those in both MTSS and general education
- Manage a caseload of 8 sessions per day, delivering high-quality, individualized interventions
- Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with other professionals, including physical therapists, teachers, and support staff
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt therapy plans as needed
- Support students in developing skills essential for classroom success and daily living
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment by fostering student engagement and growth
