Qualifications:
- Current and valid New Jersey Occupational Therapy license (NJ OT License required)
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of best practices supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Ability to navigate between two schools located just 10 minutes apart
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Meet all district and state-specific requirements for school-based OTs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with school staff, special educators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Manage a caseload split between two schools: two days at each location per week
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress aligned with educational goals
- Advocate for appropriate accommodations and support within the classroom and school environment
