Occupational Therapist School Setting - West Orange, NJ

Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid and current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in NJ
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Commitment to professional standards, student confidentiality, and ethical practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy interventions, adapting to both school and homebound settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support learning objectives
- Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
- Flexibly adjust schedule in partnership with district leadership to best serve students
