Key Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy license required
- Background in school-based OT preferred
- Ability to work with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Familiarity with supporting individuals with mild to moderate disabilities
- Up-to-date on any district or state-mandated certifications or credentials for school personnel
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering onsite occupational therapy services to K-12 students per their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Case management spanning two schools (2 days at each site; 10 minutes apart)
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure holistic student care
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and making recommendations for interventions or classroom modifications as needed
