Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- School-based OT experience, preferably with elementary-age children
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals, progress monitoring, and providing direct therapy services
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic educational setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver innovative, evidence-based occupational therapy services to elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administration to design and integrate therapy plans
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to each student's needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decisions regarding student support
- Provide consultative services to staff and families on strategies to reinforce therapy goals in and outside of the classroom
