Key Details:
- Contract dates: August 24, 2026 – June 3, 2027
- On-site at two middle school locations
- Full-time hours preferred (7:45am–3:15pm, Monday–Friday, aligned with the school schedule)
- Alternatively, two part-time professionals may be considered
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for school settings
- Experience providing OT services within a school environment (preferred)
- Strong evaluation and documentation skills, including initial and re-evaluations
- Familiarity with IEPs, MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), and special education eligibility processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable consulting with multidisciplinary teams and supporting educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations to determine or re-assess special education eligibility
- Participate in middle school building-level teams to support student intervention and goal development
- Provide direct IEP, MTSS, and consultative OT services for students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote skills generalization across environments
- Document services in accordance with district procedures
