An experienced Occupational Therapist is needed to support a K-12 school population for the 2026-2027 school year. In this onsite, contract role, you'll collaborate with educational teams and families to foster student development, independence, and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license
- South Carolina Educator Certification
- Strong background in school-based OT practices; experience with home health, teletherapy, and/or COTA supervision is a plus
- Ability to travel between sites with paid travel time (mileage reimbursement to be confirmed)
- Adept at addressing diverse student needs and collaborating within an educational setting
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student OT needs
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy goals as part of student IEPs
- Take an active role in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations to support students' progress
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to K-12 students’ unique requirements
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, data collection, and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
This is an onsite position at a welcoming and supportive school environment near Irmo, SC, for a full 37.5 hours per week during the 2026-2027 academic year.
