Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
- Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged clients preferred
- Solid understanding of IEPs, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet varied learning and physical needs
- Dedication to supporting students’ personal, academic, and social development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address students’ goals within the school setting
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff in implementing accommodations and modifications
- Maintain clear documentation and contribute to student IEP meetings
- Educate families and school teams on strategies to promote student independence
