Occupational Therapist School Setting in Corona, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
- Previous experience as a school-based OT or in pediatric therapy preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and progress reporting
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational, assessment, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations to identify strengths and areas needing support
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
- Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support in a school setting
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes according to school and professional standards
- Educate school staff and families on therapy techniques and strategies for enhancing student independence
