Step into an essential role supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist with a flexible hybrid schedule—three days onsite and two days remote each week. You'll join an established team that includes two experienced OTs and a dedicated COTA, providing a collaborative, engaging work environment.
In this contract position based near Crowley, TX, your expertise will directly impact students' growth and success within the school setting. Your work will focus on evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to help students succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Texas
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Knowledge of IEP documentation and processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort with a blended onsite/remote work model
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine OT needs as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's unique goals
- Deliver services onsite and via teletherapy as needed
- Work closely with teachers, families, and fellow therapists to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and student outcomes
- Attend ARD/IEP meetings and provide input on OT goals and accommodations
