Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in California
- Prior experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Dedication to creating inclusive, supportive environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop tailored therapy plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure students’ success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate, compliant records of services and student progress
- Offer consultative support and training to staff to integrate OT strategies into classrooms
