Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required
- Prior experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapy and school-based service delivery
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Creative thinker with a passion for facilitating student growth and independence
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver direct therapy to students with varied physical, developmental, or sensory challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams to adapt activities and environments for student access and participation
- Write clear evaluations and document progress toward IEP goals
- Provide consultation and training for school staff on strategies and accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for each student
- Support students in developing the fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills critical for success in the classroom
