What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with credentials valid for practice in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience providing OT services in a school-based setting.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to document intervention and progress.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, delivering both direct and consultative services.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Collaborator mindset, ready to work as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of elementary students and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct OT interventions to students in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Participate in IEP meetings, writing measurable goals and progress reports.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to school and state requirements.
- Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom.
- Educate families and caregivers to support students’ OT goals at home.
