You’ll work 2.5 days a week during the elementary school hours of 8:35 am to 3:38 pm and manage a caseload of approximately 25 students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in Michigan
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their participation in school activities
- Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions in accordance with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families to support student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and reports
- Conduct assessments and contribute to reevaluation and eligibility meetings as required by the district
- Offer consultative support and strategies for classroom accommodations and modifications
