- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is preferred
- Strong knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy for children
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to address a variety of student needs
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster success
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to student goals in academic and functional skill areas
- Consult with staff to promote accessibility and assistive technology use, as needed
- Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and attend IEP meetings
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with practices in school and pediatric occupational therapy
