Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across PreK-8th grade as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school settings (PreK-8th preferred)
- Solid understanding of best practices in school-based OT
- Strong evaluation, planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to travel between multiple nearby sites as assigned
- Comfortable working onsite (teletherapy/virtual assignments currently not available)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct services to students in inclusive and specialized settings
- Collaborate with IEP teams regarding student progress and support strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely records in alignment with school requirements
- Consult and train staff and families to support student participation and success
- Contribute to a positive, proactive atmosphere for students and colleagues
This full-time contract runs from August 4, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and includes a 40-hour workweek with exposure to a diverse caseload across several school sites. You’ll partner with a supportive educational community dedicated to student well-being and achievement.
