Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy.
- Prior experience in school-based settings or pediatric therapy.
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education process.
- Versatility to work as part of a team and independently.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Comfort providing therapy in a fast-paced, dynamic school environment.
- Home health or broader healthcare Occupational Therapy experience, a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to elementary students.
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development.
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to plan and deliver targeted interventions.
- Document progress and maintain timely records in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in after-hours meetings as required.
- Support inclusive practices within classrooms and throughout the school.
