With a supportive team at your side, you’ll enjoy a structured schedule of 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional after-hours meetings to connect and coordinate with staff and caregivers.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin
- Experience in school, home health, or healthcare OT roles, especially with elementary-aged students
- Strong knowledge of therapy techniques, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families in a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Compassion, patience, and a child-centered approach to care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct OT services to children EC-5th grade in the school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams
- Support students with diverse needs to achieve educational and functional goals
- Consult with teachers and staff on accommodations and classroom strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely records and reports
