The role spans four sites—all easily accessible, with two located directly across the street from each other and two others just a short distance away. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in New Jersey
- Previous experience working in a school environment (PreK-8 preferred)
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- At least one OT must be comfortable performing evaluations
- Ability to adapt to various school site settings throughout the week
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Conduct evaluations (at least one OT required) and develop individualized therapy goals
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom settings
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate interventions
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and the school community
