Coverage is needed as soon as possible, with the exact duration to be determined—the assignment may continue until the end of the month or potentially through the semester, offering flexibility for those looking to make a difference in a dynamic school setting.
What we’re seeking:
- Active Colorado CDE credential required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric occupational therapy setting strongly preferred
- Ability to manage an elementary school caseload and adapt to evolving student needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, especially when partnering with teachers, staff, and families
- Adaptable and solution-oriented, comfortable working with changing schedules and responsibilities
- Available for 4 days per week as a leave coverage specialist
In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver occupational therapy services and interventions tailored to students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with educators and other school professionals to promote student success and access to learning
- Attend team meetings and contribute your insights to support the growth and well-being of each learner
- Document services, progress, and maintain compliance with all relevant policies
- Stay responsive to new developments and information from the school about coverage needs
