Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Proven ability to work with children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Compassion and adaptability in diverse educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions in accordance with students’ IEP goals
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting
- Adapt therapeutic activities to ensure accessibility and engagement for all students
- Educate school staff and caregivers in strategies to support student growth and independence
