Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure/certification in Illinois (IL OT Credentials required).
- Experience providing OT services in school environments strongly preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary educational teams and communicate clearly with students, staff, and families.
- Skilled in assessment, development, and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads across multiple schools.
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to a varied K-12 student population, adapting interventions based on individual needs and IEP goals.
- Participating actively on the Early Childhood Assessment Team and serving elementary buildings as required.
- Assessing students’ functional abilities and developing personalized therapy strategies.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation, including progress reports and required compliance paperwork.
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to integrate therapeutic recommendations into classroom routines.
- Supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment in partnership with other professionals.
