Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and active Ohio Occupational Therapist license
- School-based experience is highly preferred
- Expertise in working with a diverse student population from elementary through high school
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in all aspects of care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and establish individualized intervention plans
- Deliver occupational therapy services within a school environment, focusing on enhancing students’ participation and independence
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEPs
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings and recommendations with educators and families
- Provide training and support to school staff to help integrate therapeutic strategies into daily activities
- Adapt interventions to suit different learning levels and abilities
