Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington state ESA and SLP License
- Recent fingerprint clearance through OSPI
- Proven background delivering occupational therapy services in a school environment
- Experience or comfort providing therapy to elementary-age children
- Commitment to in-person service delivery
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to diverse students at one elementary campus
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation on all student encounters and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with parents, teachers, and staff to develop and implement support strategies
- Assess student needs using approved evaluation tools and contribute to the determination of eligibility for special services
- Develop individualized treatment plans to support key developmental milestones and educational outcomes
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
