Occupational Therapist School Setting in Poulsbo, WA

Step into a rewarding opportunity to support elementary students as a contract Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, in-person role focuses on providing expert OT services to a caseload of 32 students at a single elementary school. You'll make a genuine difference by helping students develop the skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and personally.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid ESA certificate
- Current WA OT License
- Fingerprinted through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT services
- Passion for engaging elementary-age students in meaningful therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and deliver individualized interventions to meet students’ motor, self-care, and sensory needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and education to staff and families regarding OT supports
- Adapt materials and environments to foster student accessibility and success
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
