Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist. You’ll work within a district that serves approximately 400-500 students with IEPs, collaborating closely with another experienced OT to provide dedicated care. Assignments and caseloads are thoughtfully split, ensuring balanced workloads and opportunities for ongoing collaboration.
Your primary caseload will include about 35 students, working onsite across several schools that are conveniently located within a few blocks of one another. What We’re Looking For:
- Fully licensed Occupational Therapist with school-based experience preferred
- Strong background working with students with IEPs
- Ability to adapt to different school environments and collaborate effectively with staff and families
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 35 students
- Willingness to relocate to the area for onsite work (travel applicants are encouraged)
- Enthusiastic, compassionate, and organized approach to supporting student development
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Work closely with educators, families, and partner OT to coordinate care
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Serve multiple sites within a close-knit district, minimizing travel time
