Role Highlights:
- Deliver 5.5 direct service hours per week, allowing for personalized, focused interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student participation in school activities
- Assess students’ fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behaviors to help them access the curriculum
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on students’ IEP goals
- Create engaging activities to improve self-care and classroom performance skills
- Maintain detailed records of services provided and progress data
- Start as soon as possible, supporting continuity of care and early intervention
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in a school or pediatric setting
- Knowledge of school-based OT approaches and familiarity with the elementary age group
- Comfort adapting strategies to meet individual and group needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance requirements
