Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
- Active, valid state licensure as an OT
- Prior school-based experience preferred, with strong skills in IEP development and implementation
- Familiarity with assessing fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive techniques
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for students with a range of needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services within the school environment
- Collaborate with educational staff and parents to incorporate therapeutic strategies in daily routines
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, interventions, and progress
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
