Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active OT license for the state (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Confident in evaluating and implementing treatment programs for a diverse student population
- Skilled at adapting activities and environments to support student participation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and school teams
- Able to travel between multiple worksites within the school district
- Must be available to work onsite only during the assignment dates
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and create targeted intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, individually or in groups
- Document progress, prepare reports, and attend IEP meetings as needed
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to support student success
- Prioritize a positive and inclusive atmosphere within each school environment
In this role, you’ll enjoy the variety of working at different school locations and playing a pivotal part in students’ educational journeys. The assignment runs from August 17, 2025, to December 22, 2026, with 35 hours per week.
