You’ll enjoy the flexibility of organizing your own weekly schedule, with initial support and oversight, while ensuring all assigned caseload students receive comprehensive therapy services. This is a full-time role for the fall semester, running from August 25th to December 18th, just before winter break.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in Missouri
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between assigned school sites as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to a caseload of approximately 32 students across several schools, totaling roughly 800 minutes per week
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress and participation
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records consistent with school procedures
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Adjust approach as needed to meet evolving student and classroom needs
