Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Knowledge of IEP processes and individualized goal setting
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs based on student needs and IEP goals
- Provide both group and one-on-one therapy sessions within the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure carryover of strategies in the classroom and at home
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and compliance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in the development of student plans
