Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active New Mexico OT state license (NMRLD)
- Obtain NMPED certification from the New Mexico Department of Education before the start date
- Open to both OTs and COTAs (OTs must be willing to supervise COTAs)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Ready to travel between multiple school locations as needed
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services for a diverse caseload, ranging from early childhood through high school
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school teams
- Supervise COTAs as required, ensuring quality and compliance
- Travel between various schools within the district to deliver onsite services
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and multidisciplinary collaboration
