Occupational Therapist School Setting in Mesilla Park, NM

Ideal candidates will bring:
- Active New Mexico state licensure (NMRLD) for Occupational Therapy prior to the start date
- NMPED certification through the New Mexico Department of Education (this can be obtained quickly if you’re proactive)
- Willingness and ability to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Experience or comfort traveling between multiple school sites during the week
- Effective communication skills for collaboration and record-keeping
- Passion for working with diverse student populations across all school ages
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering OT services per each student’s IEP and school policies
- Supervising and mentoring COTA(s) as needed
- Traveling between schools to provide direct therapy, support, and consultation
- Maintaining clear, accurate documentation as required
Onsite presence is required; remote or teletherapy arrangements are not available.
