This full-time role runs from August 4, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a 40-hour work week and the chance to make a difference across multiple sites in the region near Lathrop, CA. Desired Qualifications:
- Active OT licensure valid for California (or eligible to obtain)
- Prior school-based occupational therapy experience (PreK-8th preferred)
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites
- Proficient with school-related documentation, IEPs, and collaboration with education teams
- Skilled in adapting therapy plans to meet individual student needs
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and staff
- Experience with teletherapy is a plus, but all services will be provided onsite (no virtual/VOCO at this time)
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services per student IEPs
- Collaborate regularly with teachers and school staff on supportive strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Communicate goals and progress effectively to families and educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing case management across assigned school sites
