Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and staff as a school-based Occupational Therapist. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
- Strong finite-motor, sensory, adaptive, and assistive technology intervention skills
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress reporting, and compliance with IDEA regulations
- Effective communication and collaborative skills for partnering with educators, families, and students
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage a flexible caseload across multiple worksites
- Competence in documentation and time management within an educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and consultative services to students aged preschool through high school
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans based on student needs
- Support students’ participation in classroom and school activities
- Document treatment progress and communicate regularly with school teams and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating to create achievable student goals
- Travel between assigned worksites within the district for student sessions and team meetings
The contract runs from August 17, 2025, through December 22, 2026, with a steady, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week for the semester. All services are delivered onsite, allowing you to build strong, in-person relationships with students and staff.
