You’ll be integral in providing services that enhance students' success, collaborating with educators and caregivers to ensure every child receives the support they deserve. Caseload specifics are being finalized to ensure a manageable and meaningful workload tailored to your expertise.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (California)
- Experience in school-based OT; additional experience in healthcare or home health settings is highly desirable
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
- Passion for working with children and supporting diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to students on your caseload through both in-person and teletherapy modalities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote students’ progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with state and school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
