School Occupational Therapist | Littleton, Colorado

This part-time, leave coverage position is available for an immediate start, with the length of the assignment running potentially through the end of the month or the semester—offering both flexibility and the chance to extend your experience working in school-based OT. You’ll work 4 days per week and manage an elementary school caseload, helping students reach their fullest potential in the classroom and beyond.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) licensure required
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong understanding of school-based OT practices, IEP development, and intervention strategies
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to changing schedules or coverage requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Assess and document student progress, participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings as needed
- Contribute to IEPs and help develop meaningful, targeted interventions
- Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and families
- Communicate clearly and consistently about therapy goals and progress
