Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for practice in Washington State
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience providing therapy in school settings (K-12 preferred)
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfort with developing IEP goals and attending student meetings
- Passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students and identify unique developmental, sensory, and motor needs impacting school participation
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in alignment with IEP requirements
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy interventions to support students’ educational performance
- Collaborate closely with educators, special education teams, and parents for meaningful student progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments, sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
- Adapt therapy strategies to diverse learning and behavioral needs
