Certified Middle School Occupational Therapist School Setting - Los Angeles, CA
Embark on an impactful opportunity to deliver occupational therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. This full-time contract role calls for a dedicated professional ready to support learners in achieving their fullest potential for the remainder of the academic year, with an immediate start and commitment through June 5, 2026.
Your expertise will make a difference working with a manageable caseload of 49 students across three dynamic campuses. You'll collaborate closely with educational teams and families in the vibrant Los Angeles area, serving students from diverse backgrounds and age groups as they develop essential skills for lifelong success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active OT licensure and certification required
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting
- Proficiency supporting students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel between multiple nearby sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, direct therapy, and consultative support to students within existing caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with each student's IEP
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families
- Document sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district and legal standards
- Deliver services across three distinct campuses while managing schedules and priorities effectively
- Foster engagement and participation, adapting interventions to promote student growth
