Occupational Therapist School Setting in Magalia, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required
- Recent pediatric and/or school-based OT experience highly desired
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, sensory integration, and assistive technology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between sites (mileage reimbursement provided)
Primary Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students with varying needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver therapy sessions both one-on-one and in small group settings within the school environment
- Maintain thorough documentation on student progress, session notes, and communication with staff/parents
- Provide consultative support and training to teachers and caregivers on strategies that foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for accommodations and modifications
This contract runs from August 10 through May 28, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule that supports work-life balance. Mileage between school sites is reimbursed, making travel seamless for those servicing multiple locations.
