Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity serving prek-8th grade students as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position offers the chance to make a significant impact by delivering services across multiple school sites near Manteca, CA. Key Qualifications & Ideal Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and active OT licensure in California
- Prior experience delivering OT services in school settings, including assessments, IEP participation, and development of tailored interventions
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of students from prek through 8th grade
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation
- Adaptability to travel between several sites during the workweek
- Ability to manage time independently and keep organized records
- No teletherapy/VOCO services at this time; this role is in-person
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive OT evaluations and document findings
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary IEP teams, providing input and guidance to support each student’s educational progress
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services on-site
- Maintain communication with teachers, families, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care and best outcomes
- Travel between assigned schools as needed to meet caseload requirements
As part of this contract, you’ll enjoy a consistent full-time schedule (40 hours/week) from August 4, 2026, through May 27, 2027, allowing for meaningful and lasting connections with students and staff.
