In this role, you’ll split your time—two days at each school only 10 minutes apart—ensuring continuity of care and building strong relationships with both students and faculty. Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Familiarity with state and district requirements for school-based therapists
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to fostering student growth and participation in school activities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver direct therapy services onsite, adapting interventions for a range of abilities
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Document sessions, monitor progress, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
- Organize schedules and manage a yet-to-be-determined caseload efficiently across both schools
