Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as an Occupational Therapist supporting students across two welcoming schools near Marlton, NJ. This onsite role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities. You’ll devote 30 hours per week, splitting your time between two nearby campuses—just a short 10-minute drive apart—enabling you to build strong connections with diverse student groups and educational teams.
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for a range of ages and needs within K-12 caseloads
- District-specific or state-mandated credentials (as applicable)
Your Role:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in two school settings
- Assess and address fine motor, sensory, social, and functional skills to support student participation in their academic environments
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to design effective strategies and individualized programs
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision-making for student supports
- Flexibility to work 2 days per week at each campus across the contract period, starting as soon as possible through December
