Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy roles preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 student caseloads, including proficiency in assessment and intervention planning for diverse student needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Dedication to fostering student independence and participation in school activities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students across multiple schools in the district
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support students’ academic, social, and functional skills
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as an integral member of student support teams
- Consult with educators and parents to support the integration of therapeutic recommendations in learning environments
- Adapt and modify materials or equipment to enhance students’ access and participation within school settings
