This unique, part-time opportunity is ideal for those seeking a balanced schedule, with 7 hours per week (one day per week) dedicated to hands-on evaluation and therapy within a supportive school community.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of sensory integration, fine/gross motor skills, and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and family members
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation of services
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
