The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 11, 2027. The opportunity is entirely on-site, allowing you to engage directly with students, faculty, and the school community. VOCO services are not being considered at this time.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with current state credentials
- Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload of elementary-aged students
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Committed to supporting diverse learners and inclusive education
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and evaluations for students with various needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based OT interventions in the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers and families to promote carryover of strategies
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Promote independence in daily school routines, motor skills, and classroom participation
