This is a full-time, contract opportunity running from August 2026 through May 2027, with the potential to impact a diverse range of learners. Caseload specifics will be posted shortly.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and progress monitoring for students with varying needs
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Able to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students according to IEP goals
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and create individualized plans for therapy
- Develop and implement engaging intervention activities that promote fine motor, sensory, and functional life skills
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely IEP documentation
- Consult with educators and parents to support student success in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting and progress reviews
