This position provides 37.5 hours per week, split between two elementary schools. In addition to working directly with students, you’ll supervise an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) who delivers services at a third elementary school. The combined caseload encompasses 62 students, with the OTA covering this group approximately 2 to 2.5 days a week. Contract renewal may be possible for the right fit, ensuring stability and continuity for students under your care. Compensation for this role starts at $43 per hour and is commensurate with experience.
What we’re looking for:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with current Wisconsin credentials
- Previous school-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, direct therapy, and documentation
- Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with an OTA
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff for integrated care
- Supervise and mentor an OTA, ensuring high-quality student support
- Assess student needs; develop and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Maintain thorough, timely paperwork and progress updates
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
